| Horseback
riding has become a popular pastime at this park, the second largest park
in land area in the Arkansas state parks system. Twentty-five miles of
multi-use trails (open to bicycles and hikers) wind through the rolling
hills and beautiful forest of Crowley's Ridge. Horse trails are open
year-round except in extreme wet conditions. Call the park for trail
conditions and closings. A first-class horse camp with stalls is open
year-round. |

Directions
Village Creek State Park is located two hours east of Little Rock,
Arkansas, or one hour west of Memphis, Tennessee.
Take Exit #242 off I-40 at Forrest City and go 13 miles north on Ark.
