More states soon.  (Do you have maps, tracks, waypoints, reviews?  Send them to us and get your state added, and help out your fellow riders.)

How to use our maps

Print out our map and download our track and waypoint files in the format best for your GPS.

Load the track or the Waypoints onto your GPS.  Using our map or the parks map combined with the HTMPS tracks and waypoints on your GPS will allow you to see as you ride right were you are on the trail.  It should allow you to look ahead and plan your routes and help you not miss scenic spots.

Most of our Waypoints and Tracks are made for the Magellan GPS. But we also offer the same info in Text file format so you can import them to other brands of GPS.

If you have a Magellan GPS with an upload cable and the software that came with it you can download the Magellan version of our track and waypoint files for the trail you want, unzip them and upload them right to your GPS.

If you do not have a Magellan GPS, don’t have the software, or have an older GPS you can use free programs such as Easy GPS

(found here- http://www.easygps.com) to upload HTMPS tracks and our Waypoints.

Also check out http://www.gpsbabel.org This site has lots of tools for converting GPS files to different formats your GPS can use.

A third option is to download just the Text Waypoint file for the site you trail you intend to ride and unzip it. Waypoints can be entered by hand onto your GPS. Most of our maps also have the waypoints to the important places marked right on the map in a table on the map.

Why do I need the Track File if I have the waypoints?   You can just use the waypoints and this is what most people are familiar with.  But if your GPS supports the track or track back feature and you upload our track file to your GPS you will be able to see and follow the exact path we rode. If you come to a fork in the trail and your unsure which way to take, you can ride a few feet and see on the GPS if the trail you chose is the correct one.
