25-Mile Equestrian Trail
Equestrian Trail* (EASY, ADVANCED, EXPERT)
Winds past many historical landmarks.
Riders will also encounter a variety of wildlife. Trails east of Hwy. 2
are closed Oct. 15-Jan. 31 for hunting season. GPS developed map
available. Campground has mounting block accessible to physically disabled
available.
LOCATION: Park entrance is 5 miles N of
Wilburton on SH-2, in
SE Oklahoma

DISTANCE: 60+ miles of horse and multiuse
trails
RIDE TYPE: Loops and connecting trails
TRAIL TYPE: Very rocky with some steep
inclines. Horseshoes are a necessity.
DIFFICULTY: Easy to difficult. Machete is
very steep, Overlook runs close to cliff.

From US I-40, take US Hwy 69 south to 270
east. Just before Wilburton, go north on SH 2 to the park entrance.
