Ramsey

State park

15 miles of trails. Nice horse campground with restrooms, water and pond in camp. No electricity. Trails well marked. Easy riding on soft soil with little rock on trails. Long trail winds through a fire road which can be rode right back to camp allowing rider to cut ride short if needed. Nice picnic area next to a pond around 5 mile mark in trail. Picnic area has tie-ups, tables and high lines.

Trails closed Nov 1 to April 1 and during rainy weather conditions.

Note- The parks map below shows you can ride from Parking lot 5 along the roads back to camp. We did not map this part because the gravel road was harsh gravel and the area had no shade.  We reached parking lot 5 and doubled back till we hit the fire road and rode it straight back through to camp. This fire road is one of the nice features of this park and allows you to tailor the length of your ride.
