My
wife Kris and I have been meeting a lot of great Midwest area mule people.
We thought it might be nice if the area Mule people and their
friends got together to have a ride and barbecue.
The
weekend will be Saturday October 27th 2007 starting at 9:00 AM at
Bay Creek Ranch, Inc
. Last
year many of you said you wanted a place that had camping so this year we
chose a site with camping.
This Ranch's trails go through the beautiful
Shawnee National Forest trails.
Please contact Linda Kesul from Bay Creek Ranch for camping prices and to
reserve a campsite. If just riding for the day you will be only
charged a day rider/bridle fee.

On this weekend
Midwest
mule riders and their mules (horse and donkey riders and mounts welcome
also) can come together to meet, have some free potluck barbecue and take a
trail ride together.
My
wife and I will grill some hotdogs to share and have some drinks on hand. You bring
your favorite mule, donkey or horse and if you feel like it bring
something to share for the pot luck. We
will all trail ride together, have some food and meet new friends.
Last year the mule riders proved mule riders not only have the best
equines but are the best cooks. The food everyone brought to share was
great!
We
will be there all weekend. Come out Friday if you want to be there for
more than the mule ride Saturday.
We
will have some free drawings during the potluck. If we find some sponsors
we will have more. If you want your company to donate some items for the
free drawings and get your company name mentioned contact Dave
Kaemmerer.
But most of
all we are looking to have a simple weekend of fun for
Midwest
mule riders and their friends.
