Directions: From I 80 at Ottawa, take Exit 90/SR
(State Route) 23 and follow SR 23 south through town and across the
Illinois River, turning west (right) on SR 71. Turn left off Ill Rt 71 on
to County Highway
8 approximately 3 miles from the bridge in Ottawa, Follow this road (CH8)
for about 3 1/2 miles to 1251 Rd. There are signs on this road
indicating the park location. On 1251 Rd go about 2 1/2 miles to the
gate, Large 4 foot by 8 foot sign. Horse trailer parking lot is
about
0.9 miles in from the gate on the right side of the park road.
Directions from the Southeast:
Ill. Rt 23 to
GrandRidge, Il turn West
onto County Highway 6 (CH6), go west for 5 1/2 miles to East 12th Rd.
Turn North (Tee intersection), proceed North about 4 1/2 miles to Park
gate. (Somewhere on this road E. 12th turns to E.1251 Rd. and
crosses
CH8)
Directions from Southwest:
RT 39 (Interstate) to Tonica Exit, turn
East
on to CH14, cross Rt 51 and continue until you reach ILL 178 (Tee
intersection) Turn North (or left) cross Vermillion River and at top of
hill turn right or East on to CH8. Follow CH8 to 1251 Rd
(signs on
highway indicate park). Follow 1251 to park gate.
From the West and Northwest:
take 80 to RT 178 (Utica, Starved Rock exit)
Go South on Rt 178 to N24th Rd, turn left or East, go 4 miles to
E.1251
Rd. turn left or North and follow road to park gate.
